The seventh Grade Boys Town Team finished their tournament season with a 10-1 record. They competed in the Kimball 4H tournament held in Kimball this past weekend. Format for play was a double elimination bracket. Kimball’s first game was against Caliche. Final score was 44-30. Scoring was:Mike Daum – 26Jake Reader – 13Colton Stull – 3TJ Crow – 2“Our next game matched us up with Gering,” said coach Michele Daum. Daum said the game was very physical game and her the boys dominated and defeated Gering with a score of 44-35.  Scoring was: Mike Daum – 19Jake Reader – 14Bryant Knigge – 5Henry Heeg – 2Colton Stull – 2TJ Crow – 2“Michael Ferguson stepped in and played some critical minutes when we were in foul trouble.” said Daum, “In the time he was in he drew two fouls and saved an over and back call.”But Kimball wasn’t done with Gering. Gering came back through the losers bracket to make their way to the championship.
