Leatha A. Bushor, 95, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Monday, March 23, 2009.  Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Kimball Cemetery with Reverend Roger Gillming officiating.   Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.  Memorials have been established to the Kimball Senior Center or the Donor’s Choice.  Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Leatha Alice Bushor was born in Kimball on January 3, 1917, the daughter of Fred and Viola (Harpster) Stanfield.  She was raised and attended school in Kimball, graduating in 1935 from the Kimball County High School.  She was married to Kenneth L. Bushor on January 21, 1941, two children Sue and Kenneth were born to this union.  They lived in Denver for a few years until returning to Kimball.  Leatha worked as a sales clerk for the Kimball Gambles Store.  She belonged to several organizations including Royal Neighbors and the Extension Club.  She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  Leatha enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens.   She also enjoyed playing cards, quilting and doing handiwork.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking car trips with her daughter.   Leatha was a sweet lady and a true people person, she will be missed by those who knew her.Survivors include her daughter Sue Wallesen of Kimball; son Kenneth (Gaylene) Bushor of Denver, CO; grandchildren Marci Muneio, Lynne Hickox, Lori Burns and Mark Bushor; 6 great grandchildren; brother Robert Stanfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Ralph Stanfield and sister-in-law Mary Stanfield.
