Elizabeth “Pauline” Williams, 86, of Kimball, died on Monday, May 25, 2009 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, WY and went to be with her Lord just one week after her husband Evert.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Kimball with Reverend Roger Gillming officiating.  Burial will be held in the Kimball Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Memorials have been established to Davis Hospice Center of Cheyenne. Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Elizabeth Pauline Williams, Pauline as she was known by everyone, was born in Leedey, Okla. on December 27, 1922, the daughter of Jay and Lillie Addington.  She attended school in Leedey.  She was married to Forest Evert Williams in Leedey, Okla. on April 29, 1940. Early in life the couple resided in Oklahoma and California.  Later they traveled throughout Kansas while Evert worked in the oil fields.  They lived in Sterling, Colo. for a number of years before moving to McCook and then to Kimball.  Her marriage to Evert was blessed with two children, Jerry and Linda who both live in Kimball.  Pauline worked in the restaurant business owning the Brass Lantern which later became the Holiday Restaurant.  Pauline truly enjoyed her time in the restaurant business and provided the community with a quality food establishment and entertainment facility, hosting numerous weekend, holiday, and special occasion dances. Several wedding receptions were also held at the facility.Survivors include her son  Jerry (Sharon) Williams of Kimball; daughter Linda Williams of Kimball; grandchildren Lisa (Jamie) Cross of Harrisburg, Brian (Aida) Williams of Kimball, Traci Pleiss of Lincoln, and Noelle Jacquot of Casper, Wyo., Sandy (Doug) Lukassen of Kimball, DeLynn (Mitzi) Elrod of Portland, Sheila (Scott) Hillius of Cambridge, and Vernon (Carolyn) Elrod of LeMoore, Calif.; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, parents and brothers and sisters; Rosa Martin, Viola Williams, Anna Mae Baumgartner, Leona Adams, Naomi Touchstone, J.C. Addington, Edgar Addington, Loretta Haney and Evert Addington; granddaughter LaTisha Chamberlain.
