Barry Heaton, 59, of Eureka Montana, passed away at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle WA, on Tue. Sept. 1, 2009, after a six week battle of aggressive multiple myeloma with severe complications.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in Kimball, NE at the Kimball Evangelical Free Church on Sat. Sept. 19, at 1:00 PM.  Memorials may be made to the First Baptist  Church, PO Box 391, Eureka, MT 59917, or the donor’s choice.Barry was born on April 22, 1950 in Boise Idaho, to Gary and Darlene Heaton.  He grew up in Phillipsburg, Kansas, till the age of 13.  He then moved with his family to Colorado, then on to Sidney, Nebraska, where he graduated from high school on May 24, 1968.  Barry was married to Laurie James in Kimball, NE, on Dec. 1, 1972.  They had two children, lived in Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming, and then divorced in 1982.  On July 6, 1991, Barry was united in marriage to Bonni Pershall in Kimball, NE, where they made their home, until moving to Eureka, MT in Nov. 2004.Barry made his living early on working in the oil fields of Colorado, Utah, & Wyoming.  Later on he worked as a freight truck driver, custodian, mechanic, machinist, and lastly on a family cattle ranch.On Aug. 1, 1999, Barry was baptized by Rev. Carl Pershall, and Church became a vital part of his life.  He was involved with music, choir, and kids; he attended the Kimball Evangelical Free Church in Nebraska, then the Eureka First Baptist Church in Montana.  Barry loved his life, family & friends.  He enjoyed playing any style of music on his guitar, especially if someone would sit and ‘pick’ with him.  Hunting, fishing, camping, and just hanging out with family and friends meant the world to him.  We will miss him dearly.Barry is survived by his wife Bonni Heaton, of Eureka, MT; daughter Abby Heaton and fiancé Brad Holwegner; son Dain and wife Danielle Heaton, two grandchildren Jordyn and Ethan Heaton; mother of his children Laurie Heaton all of Casper, WY; his mother Darlene Heaton of Kimball, NE; his brothers, Jim and wife Glenda Heaton of Westminster, CO; Dave and wife Donna Heaton of Grand Lake, CO; and Matt Heaton of Scottsbluff, NE; four nephews and five nieces.He was preceded in death by his father Gary Heaton.
