Harold Dean “Biggen” Fricke,  77, of Kimball, died at his home in Kimball on Sunday, September 20, 2009.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Kimball Cemetery with Reverend Roger Gillming officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Memorials have been established to the family.  Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Harold “Biggen” Fricke was born in Sargent, NE on September 3, 1932, the son of Frederick and Rohda (Amsberry) Fricke.   He was raised and attended school in Comstock, NE.  Biggen worked with his older brother farming.  He was married to Jocelyn June Johnson in Broken Bow, NE on March 14, 1953. He enlisted in the US Army on April 30, 1953.  He was honorably discharged on April 14, 1955.  The family  returned to Kimball and Biggen worked many different jobs in the oil field, he also worked for  Curley’s.  His wife preceded him in death on November 19, 1967.  He was married to Norma Gorsuch on September 3, 1984 in Kimball.   He worked for Prestige Manufacturing until being forced to retire due to ill health.  He enjoyed fishing, and watching football and spending time with family and friends.  He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and was a member of the Moose Lodge when they were still active in Kimball.Survivors include his wife Norma of Kimball, NE; sons Harold Fricke of Kimball, NE and Larry Fricke of Potter, NE; daughters Karen Soule of Sidney, NE and Connie (Gerald) Frerichs of Gurley, NE; step-children Pam (Tim) Luby of Kansas City, KS., Jerry (Suzanne) Gorsuch of Dix, NE., Chris Gorsuch of Atlanta, GA., Jody Fleagel of Kimball and Lonnie and Rick   McDowall; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  His parents, his first wife Jocelyn June, brothers Carl, Fred and Bill and sister Leona and Rozena preceded him in death.
