Dennis J. Randolph, 65, of Kimball, died at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.   Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Mel Daves officiating.  Private family burial will be held in the Kimball Cemetery.  Military graveside honors will be conducted by Kimball VFW Post #2243. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.   Memorials have been established to either the First Baptist Church or the family.  Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Dennis John Randolph was born in Bushnell, NE on December 20, 1943, the son of Willard and Neva (Cerveny) Randolph.  He was raised and attended school in Bushnell and graduated from the Bushnell High School in 1962.  He enlisted in the US Navy on May 31, 1962 and honorably served his country. He was discharged from the Navy on July 7, 1966.  Dennis was married to Janice Adamson in Bushnell on April 2, 1967.  They lived and worked in Sidney for a short time before moving to Scottsbluff where he worked as a police officer and in RV Sales.  They moved to Coeur d’ Alene, ID in 1972.  The family moved to Kimball in 1979 and Dennis worked for Mosey Equipment and then later for Knutsen Oil for 25 years.  Dennis retired in 2001 due to ill health.   He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active as their song leader.  He enjoyed watching football and loved to spend time fishing and camping with his family.  His family and friends were very important to him.Survivors include his wife Janice of Kimball; sons Brad Randolph of Kimball and Brian (Catherine) Randolph of Falls Church, VA; daughter Kimberly (Gerald) Rehtus of Pueblo West, CO; brother Thomas Randolph of Cheyenne, WY; sisters Linda Valentine of Bushnell, NE and Susan Randolph of Cheyenne, WY; 4 granddaughters.  He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Carol.
