Michael Weiner and Patrick Dickinson have acquired the interest in Castronics Inc.formerly held by the Evertson family of Kimball.

Terms of  the sale have not been announced.

The two men are with Ninth Street Capital Partners of Cleveland, Ohio. The group brings together a well capitalized group of investors, advisors and business operators with more than 120 years of experience.

They invest in firms that have revenue between $5 and $50 million with a history of profitability and revenue growth. They look for firms where the owner is seeking liquidity and/or exit and the  firm has shown solid employee relations and high retention rates.

NSCP does not deal in start-up opportunities, retail stores, restaurants or minority investments.

Managing Partner Michael Weiner (pronounced Wine-er) has expertise in business and financial planning, due diligence, corporate finance, leveraged transactions and credit management. He has served as an investment banker and as an investment professional.

Weiner is a graduate of Duke University and has an MBA degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Patrick Dickinson is a founder and Managing Partner of NSCP. He has worked in the areas of acquisition, strategic development, management consulting and operation of companies. He was instrumental in the development and daily operation of a large solid waste disposal company and the country’s largest scrap tire processing company. Dickinson is also a Duke graduate and holds an MBA from MIT.

Both men say they enjoy the friendliness and warmth of the Kimball community and look forward to growth at Castronics.

Dickinson will be staying in Kimball for the next few months as the new owners get a feel for the Castronics operation. Wiener and Dickinson both intend to stay in close touch with the Kimball operation on a monthly basis once the transition is complete.

They foresee no major changes in the Castronics product or service line at this point in time.

Both say that Castronics is the center of their attention at this time.
