Shirlee L. Marshall, 76, of Kimball, died at Kimball Health Services on Saturday, October 9, 2010.  Mass of Christian burial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kimball with Father Robert Karnish officiating.  Burial was  in the Kimball Cemetery.  There was no visitation.  Memorials may be given in Shirlee’s name to the Kimball Hospital Foundation.  The arrangements for Shirlee have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Shirlee Louise Marshall was born in Kimball on March 16, 1934, the daughter of Martin and Ethyl (Leininger) Mulvihill.  She attended school in Kimball and graduated from the Kimball High School in 1954.  She lived in Cheyenne, WY a short time before moving to Watsonville, CA. While in California Shirlee worked at the Watsonville Cannery as a secretary for 10 years.  She moved to Kimball in 1988 and was reunited with longtime friend Bob Kellner, and she worked at the Kimball High School as a cook until her retirement.  Shirlee was a member of the Kimball Ambassadors; she loved golfing, bowling and playing slots, especially trips to Deadwood, SD with Bob.  She enjoyed traveling and was an avid dancer.

Survivors include her companion Bob Kellner of Kimball; sons, Bill (Jodie) Marshall of Hollister, CA., Tom (Donna) Marshall of Portland, OR., and Jeff Marshall of Watsonville, CA; daughter Cheryl Marshall of Davis, CA; sisters Donna Kallhoff of Kimball and Maxine (John) Colombo of Petaluma, CA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
