Dale C. Danielson, 81, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.  Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Kimball E-Free Church with Reverend Hod Boltjes officiating.  Burial was in the Bushnell Cemetery with military graveside honors preformed by Kimball VFW Post #2243.  There was no visitation.  Memorials have been established to the Kimball County Manor or the American Cancer Society.  The services for Dale have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Dale Chris Danielson was born in Bushnell, NE. on April 16, 1929, the son of Palmer and Greda (Christensen) Danielson. He attended school in Bushnell and Kimball.  He worked for the State of Nebraska on the road department.  He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War from 1951 until 1953.  He was married to Louise Wertz in Cheyenne, WY on September 3, 1955.  He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and later Kimball Body Works.  In 1960 he opened Dale’s Paint and Body and ran that business until his retirement in 1993.  Dale was a car buff and collected car replicas, he loved working on and restoring old cars.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Louise Danielson of Kimball; son Gary (Kelly) Danielson of Ozark, MO; grandchildren Cale and Cade Canielson.  His mother, son Roger and a brother Robert preceded him in death.
