Frank W. Robinson, 83, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Saturday, October 23, 2010.  Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Kimball Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Hod Boltjes officiating.  Burial was in the Kimball Cemetery with military graveside honors given by Kimball VFW Post #2243.  Friends were able to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m.  Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.  The services for Frank have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Frank William Robinson was born in Niangua, Missouri on August 23, 1927, the son of Edgar and Brooxie (Dudley) Robinson.  He was raised and attended school in Missouri.  He enlisted in the US Army and served his country during WWII from January 11, 1946 until being honorably discharged on April 3, 1947.  He had various jobs while working in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas.  Frank was married to Kitty McDonald in Russell, Kansas in October of 1954.  The family moved to Kimball during the oil boom in 1954.  Frank owned and operated his own pulling unit for many years before his retirement in 1990.  He enjoyed fishing and woodworking, working on vehicles and taking care of his yard.  His hobbie in life was working and providing for his family.  He enjoyed trips to Alaska to visit his son.

Survivors include his sons Bret (Janeen) Robinson and Jack Robinson both of Wasilla, AK; daughters Cindy Rahmig of Kimball, NE and Janne Halstead of Taylorsville, UT; brothers James Robinson, Paul (Jeanie) Robinson and John (Glenda) Robinson all of Yale, OK; sister Velma Lou Baird of Yale, OK; grandchildren Jason, Brooxie, Corey, Morgan and Mason, Brandon, and Tonya, Cindy, Amanda and Andy; great grandchildren Gaige and Starley Mae.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Tom and Andy; sister Theda Mae Robinson and a grandson Scott.
