Thomas (Tom) Joe Clay, age 51, a resident of Casper, WY, died on November 28, 2010 in a fatal automobile accident which occurred outside of Glenrock, Wyoming.

He was born in Kimball, NE to Ervin Clay and Helen McAdam on March 30, 1959. He graduated from Kimball County High School in 1977 and attended Casper College.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Tami Lean, on January 22, 1979, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were married 31 years. Together they raised four boys in Casper. Known as a master of his craft, he spent his lifetime career working as a machinist in such places as Wotco, JB Machine, and Brake Supply. He was a faithful member of Paradise Valley Christian Church.

His deepest passions in life were God, family, church family, worship, friends and music. He and his wife loved to serve and devote their time to their children and grandchildren. He was a very skilled and talented man who enjoyed activities such as singing, playing guitar, fishing, flying kites, bowling, billiards, darts and many other competitive activities. He was a simple man with a child-like faith who loved and believed in his Savior, Jesus Christ, despite what others thought of him. His humility before God led him to become a man of compassion, who put others before himself, displaying a heart of generosity, kindness, patience, gentleness and peace. Though he had many struggles, Tom sought to be right before God with all the integrity of his heart and loved Christ with the fullness of his being. Tom recognized that he was nothing without Jesus.
