Kayo was born on January 25, 1930 in Bassett, Nebraska to Frank and Emma Randolph.  After high school, Kayo joined the Navy and served in the Korean War.  He worked in the airline industry as a Quality Control Inspector, which fostered his love of aircraft.  Kayo’s greatest pleasure was time spent with his family and friends visiting, talking politics, and playing poker.  His grandchildren knew that they could count on Grandpa to drop everything and play with them.  Kayo’s hobbies included reading, gardening, and building remote control airplanes.  He loved the Atlanta Braves and, naturally, the Nebraska Cornhuskers.  Kayo was loved by all who knew him because of his infectious sense of humor and generous, loving spirit.  Kayo called everyone “friend” and was never known to say an unkind or harsh word.  He blessed the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Kayo is survived by his wife Patricia Alvord Randolph of Kimball, Nebraska; his son Mark (Rhonda) Randolph of Cheyenne, Wyoming;  daughters Amy (Scott) Barker of Evanston, WY., and Melissa (David) Ivester of Cheyenne, WY; stepson Clifford (Linda) DeLong of Rapid City, South Dakota; foster son Kit Childs of Kimball, Nebraska; brothers Vernon Randolph of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  Kayo’s eight grandchildren – Kady, Dana, Chelsea, Bradley, Allison, Jordan, Alex and Tom were the apples of his eye and they adored him in return.  Kayo was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Emma, his brothers Willard, Halvert, Jack, and Darryl; and his sisters Eleanor and Doris.
