Spreuer, Patty Jane (Goodwine) 87, of Peoria, Arizona passed away on February 15, 2011. Patty was born on June 5, 1923 to Frank Goodwine and Grace (Poff) Goodwine of Hereford, Colorado. She married at the age of 22 and in 1945 gave birth to her first daughter, Dianne, while living in Nebraska. She moved her family to Long Beach, California and in 1950, gave birth to her second daughter, Suzanne. Patty worked part-time for Sears and Roebuck and for the Granada Hills Medical group while raising her family. She was active in the Granada Hills Woman’s Club and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Patty moved to Marina del Rey and worked in Human Resources for the Northrup Grumann Corporation. She retired from Northrup and moved to Arizona where she was a member of the Briarwood Country Club and the Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, where she now rests eternally. Patty was an advocate for the hearing-impaired and her organs have been donated to the House Ear Institute for research. Patty had many dear friends. She loved a good party and she loved to entertain. She was a wonderful dancer, an avid jazzerciser and she performed in the Sun City West Follies. Patty is survived by her daughters Dianne Miller and Suzanne Purcell, her grandchildren Jill Kramer, Taylor Purcell and Kenton Purcell, and by her great-grandchildren Cole Kramer and Casey Kramer.
