Harry Porter McClintock died March 13, 2012 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 88 years. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on May 25, 1923 to Lillian and Harry P. McClintock. He was a graduate of Perry High School, Pittsburgh, and of the University of Pittsburgh as Petroleum Engineer. He first worked at the Oil and Gas Commission for the State of Arkansas before going with Atlantic Refining Co. In 1944 he married Edna Waldenville of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, and they came to Longview, Texas, for their first home. The next year they were transferred to Dallas in 1951, he went with Harvey Oil Co. of Abilene, Texas and moved to Midland, Texas. He later became managing partner of Antelope Gas Products plant in Kimball. He retired back to Dallas in 1974 and continued working as a natural gas consultant engineer.

Survived by his wife Edna; daughters, Kay McClintock of Arlington, Texas, Eileen McClintock of Glendale, California, Marilyn McClintock of Ada, Oklahoma and by a son, Harry P. McClintock III and his wife Linda of Plano, Texas and 2 grandsons, Andrew and Patrick McClintock.
