E.R. Teasley, 83, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012, in Salina. He was born July 1, 1928 in Glasco, Kansas, to parents, Roy and Verda Teasley.

E.R. was the type of man that never shied away from work always keeping his mind and body in motion. He had many passions like loving his family and always there to help out, friends,  also loved to hunt and fish for Bass.

E.R. went to school in Codell, Kansas. After he finished school he began his career in the oil field in the Saline Valley River road area working various jobs. Then furthered his career in 1954 by moving to Kimball, where he started pumping wells for Lowell J. Williamson, then moved on to buying his own production, where he succeeded and prospered for his family then in 1984 moved back to the Salina area where he started his true passion of farming and the stock market.

E.R. was proceeded in death by his wife Bonnie E. “Tyler” Teasley, his companion Sharon K. Brown, and his sister Orman Teasley, and brothers, Ed and Herb Simpson, and his beloved daughter Debbie Thummell.

Survivors include his two sons, Larry and Randy Teasley, Both of Kimball, two grandchildren, Spencer of Greeley Colorado. and Jennifer, of Gillette, Wyoming. Extended family survivors include Kim and Nick Bray, Deanna and Jim Kappelman, all of Salina, and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina 67401.

The funeral service will be at 11:00, Friday, June 1, 2012 at the chapel, followed by burial in the Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
